It's Here...I Can Feel it...

Now, I said a while ago it was coming and now it is here.  Fall.  I love it...I could use a bit more sun though.  I don't want the leaves to disappear before they get a chance to change color.

C'mon New Hampshire....have to give me something to look forward to!!! Having been in my new home now for 4 months, I can honestly say I am really liking it out here on my 2 acres.  So pretty and serene...
Which also leaves me with a lot of time to try out new baked treats.  Check out my new photo page of New Items from Buttercream...

I love trying new things.  Always nice to add some new trendy items to the menu. Recent additions are: Chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter buttercream topped with homemade pbutter cups...oh so creamy!!! Baked pumpkin donuts...moist, delicious, great flavor. You won't be able to stop eating them. What's hot right now is baking in mason jars...I gave that a try with s'mores in a jar.  They were delicious.  And finally, a twist on the old favorite...chocolate chip cookies...with the addition of pretzels.  Sweet/Salty...totally up my alley!!!

A good thing I still keep up with my running...I just finished my 3rd 1/2 marathon here in Boston this past weekend.  Now, that was a beautiful fall day and funny at that.  I showed up to meet with my friends...and to my surprise and theirs, I had 2 different sneakers...and of course that was not funny enough, they were 2 right feet sneakers.  WHO DOES THAT???  I was actually going to give it a try if I had to,  but thank god ADIDAS'S was one of the sponsors.  I was able to buy new shoes.  That is my excuse for not doing better this go around.  New shoes are tough.  Might have something to do with all the hills.  But I'm going with shoes.

My friends will be starting a new blog called "Jules and Sophia on the move" which will have full details of the fun we have while training, running and the craziness we get ourselves into after running...and let me tell you that is the fun part...after...stay tuned for that.  I will have a link posted.

I'm thinking I will have to try my new creations while I am on the treadmill.  That way the calories don't count.  Who's in??? It's called the Buttercream Diet...

Ok...I'm babbling...it's raining out...what else can I do...I could clean my house or organize something.  But instead I am going to make croissants...and tomorrow I'll be eating one on the treadmill...
